The 1900 election gave William McKinley a second term, again beating William Jennings Bryan. Similar to the last election, McKinley’s support came from the Northeast, Midwest, and parts of the West.

Election Summary
- The Winner: William McKinley (Republican) won 292 electoral votes (65%).
- The Challenger: William Jennings Bryan (Democrat) received 155 electoral votes (35%).
- Popular Vote: Totaled 13,964,094. McKinley won 52% (7,207,923) to Bryan’s 46% (6,358,133).
- Reversals: Unlike in 1896, McKinley flipped Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming into the Republican column in 1900.
