US Election 1936 Map

Blue, blue dominates again. Franklin D. Roosevelt won re-election in a landslide in 1936. The US election of 1936 map is almost entirely blue, with only Maine and Vermont voting Republican. It shows a country firmly behind FDR and his New Deal policies. The vote embraced hope and recovery during the Great Depression.
