US Election 1996 Map

Our 1996 U.S. election map shows plenty of blue, with Bill Clinton winning a comfortable second term over Bob Dole. Clinton carried most of the Northeast, Midwest, and West Coast. But Dole held parts of the South and the Great Plains. The pattern was clear with Democrats strengthening in cities and coastal states.

The 1996 Presidential Election saw incumbent Bill Clinton (Democrat) win a second term, defeating Bob Dole (Republican) and Ross Perot (Reform Party). This victory solidified the Democratic shift in several key states, particularly on the West Coast and in the Northeast.
